In April 2019, the New South Wales bowler filed a lawsuit in the Victorian Country Court against the insurers of his contract, the reports further stated.

When the cricketer’s manager had handed over the footage from Fox Sports of Starc bowling in the second Test, the mediation talks didn’t work out on 25 and 26 May. After the lawyers withstanding alongside the insurance had said that they didn’t have enough time to through the footage from March 10, the delay happened.

There were 2 videos out if which one was 1 minute and 37 seconds. Other one was 7 minutes and 37 seconds long.

The lawyers had around 13 months to review the case and ask for footage. Starc’s lawyers argued from their point. Dr. Seamus Dalton, the one defending the insurers has argued with the claims. However, Dr. Russel Miller, an orthopedic surgeon who has been representing the fast-bowler said that the injury was ‘complex and multifactorial’.
