MotoGP shall be back in less than a week’s time to host the Italian GP after an exciting French GP which saw Enea Bastianini winning his third Grand Prix of the season. This means that he is just 4 points behind the reigning world champion, Fabio Quartararo. Nobody saw the result coming after the pace shown by Fabio Quartararo throughout the weekend but just could convert that result into a Grand Prix win.

But this has made the coming rounds of MotoGP much more exciting as more riders get into the mix to win the world championship. Ducati seemed to have the edge over Yamaha in terms of raw pace on the straights but the Yamaha does gain on the Ducati in the corners, which does even it out a little bit.

One of the problems that emerged from the French GP was the lack of overtaking maneuvers despite riders having the edge. This started with Fabio Quartararo complaining about the lack of speed on these new machines for the riders to get past. It was followed up by Marc Marquez requesting the governing body to look into the matter. The popularity of MotoGP lies in the battles between the riders and overtaking moves at the end of it all. Hence, the governing body will have to look into the matter at the earlies before there’s a risk of losing fan base.

But, nevertheless, it’s going to be an exciting weekend in Italy keeping in mind the number of riders involved in the championship battle.
