Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have been training ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 season for over a week now and the training camp includes all those players who are not occupied with cricketing commitments elsewhere including skipper MS Dhoni. The social media handles of the CSK franchise have been posting pictures and videos from the camp showing the captain and his players sweating it out at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
The IPL begins on April 9 and CSK start out with a match against Delhi Capitals (DC) on April 10. The franchise would want a much better showing this time around as they had a below-par season last year, failing to finish in the playoff spots for the first time in their history. After making some promising buys at the IPL auction, CSK and Dhoni would want this season to be a successful one.

The Chennai Super Kings played a practice match yesterday and skipper MS Dhoni was cleaned up by a terrific delivery from new signing Harishankar Reddy. The Andhra Pradesh bowler was acquired for his base price of Rs. 20 lakhs at the auction this year and he has already started to prove his credentials by dismissing one of the greatest to have played the game in MS Dhoni.
A video of Harishankar dismissing Dhoni has now gone viral on social media. The right-arm fast bowler can be seen bowling a good length delivery just outside off-stump that swings in sharply to take out the leg-stump. Dhoni can be seen walking back to the pavilion immediately while the bowler does not celebrate at all.
