MS Dhoni has taken to the nets already as he gears up for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 where he will once again be leading the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise. Having never failed to captain the side in all its year in the tournament’s history, Dhoni will want to perform well as the twilight of his career and imminent retirement from all forms of the game looms large.
CSK had a below-par IPL season last year as they finished outside the playoff spots for the first time ever in their history. Their batting line-up did not come good consistently and their ploy of taking chases deep and knocking the runs down at the death did not seem to work. The bowling and fielding too wasn’t good enough to speak about. MS Dhoni will want all that to change when IPL 2021 begins.
MS Dhoni’s new avatar confuses fans
MS Dhoni is currently with the CSK training camp at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. He is practicing at the nets along with fellow Indian players who aren’t occupied with cricket elsewhere. He was recently seen hitting bowlers all over the park mercilessly at the nets.
Now, an image of MS Dhoni with a shaved head sitting at a martial arts training camp has surfaced on the internet. It was posted by the official Twitter handle of Star Sports India who captioned the picture with three emojis denoting shock and writing, “Our faces since we saw MS Dhoni’s new avatar that could just break the internet! What do you think is it about?” The picture has now got fans talking on social media.
