Everyone knows about the cricket career of MS Dhoni but before entering the cricket world, he was aspiring to become a goal keeper.

But later, his coach Keshav Ranjan Bannerjee motivated him to play cricket and take up wicket keeping.

Likewise, on his football career, Indian footballer Gurpreet Singh Sandhu tweeted that, “While MS Dhoni wanted to be a goalkeeper, I had other plans as a kid.”

This tweet was saying about his first choice towards his career when he was kid, as he posted a picture of him with a cricket kit.

Before becoming a footballer, Sandhu wanted to be a cricketer but later on he changed his career goal and moved to football.

Arjuna Awardee Sandhu started playing football at a very young age of 8. He joined St. Stephen’s Academy and stayed there till 2009.

Sandhu started playing for East Bengal in the year 2009. He was the part of the team who the won Federation Cup in 2012, Indian Super Cup in 2011 and Calcutta football league in 2011, 2012-13, 2013-14 by playing in East Bengal.

He has won Indian Super League gold glove in 2018-19, and Arjuna Award in 2019.

No matter whether Dhoni is playing cricket and Sandhu is playing football. They both have made the nation proud by their performances in every expect of their games.
