One of the most anticipated matchups at UFC Vegas 37 was the bantamweight contest between Tony Gravely (21-6 MMA, 2-1 UFC), Nate Maness (13-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC). Gravely was on a two-fight win streak and he was looking to extend it to three. Maness was also on a two-fight win streak, and he was not going to give it up.

Round 1 – Maness and Gravely started the fight strong, both landed some big shots but immediately recollected themselves and took a step back. Maness was looking sharp with his striking, and he landed some crisp punches at Gravely. Gravely resorted to his wrestling and attempted a bunch of takedowns, he kept the pressure high, and dropped Maness with a overhand, Maness was saved by the clock.

Round 2 – Gravely got back to work, he blasted Maness with a series of punches but his opponent stayed in the fight. Gravely attemped a couple more takedowns but couldnt complete it. Maness was just looking for his moment and he knocked out Gravely with a perfectly executed combination.
