Steve Kerr the head coach of Golden State Warriors dropped a truth bomb of his opinion on Klay Thompson’s return and his injury’s setback recently in a interview. Steve Kerr looked and is really very careful with the Klay Thompson’s situation since he doesn’t want Klay to mess up but have a successful return and be back in form as soon as possible.

Klay Thompson has been inactive for the last two seasons due to a torn left ACL and torn right Achilles but looks all good and set to return. The Golden State Warriors and Head coach Steve Kerr some weeks prior assigned Klay to Santa Cruz Warriors of NBA G-league to observe the star’s comeback run and when successful rehabilitation was observed he was called back up by the Dubs.

Steve Kerr even though has still kept the option of Klay getting assigned to Santa Cruz Warriors still alive for him to get some more scrimmages but spectating him in the G-league where he dropped crazy stats and even hit a game winner it won’t really be required to send him there for more time.

“I don’t know exactly how it’s going to pan out,” Kerr said. “I know that when we get back from this trip I’ll put my head together with (Director of Sports Medicine and Performance) Rick and Klay and we’ll talk about it – and Bob – and we’ll see where everything stands.” Steve responded with this statement regarding the situation which states without proper decision and concern with the correct people nothing regarding Klay Thompson’s return would be finalized.


Steve Kerr and the Golden State Warriors are very cautious for this situation and have delayed Klay Thompson’s Christmas return to January 2022 first two weeks. Klay can debut this season against Miami Heat on January 3 or Cleveland Cavaliers on January 9 or Detroit Pistons on January 18, all this games are home games for the Golden State Warriors at Chase Center as it was stated earlier that Klay’s return would be at Chase Center in a home game.
