Watch: Fan Tackled After Trying to Run on Court in Sixers-Wizards Game 4

It just seems like a contest being held by the NBA fans surrounding who can perform the stupidest act. Just a day after a fan tried to hit Kyrie Irving with a water bottle in TD Garden, there is more fan’s brutality to follow. The latest incident being when a fan tried to run on the court in Sixers-Wizards Game 4 in the third quarter who was eventually tackled by a security guard.

Many players seemed in disbelief after the fans have started to register some or the other deed every day around the player or with their own activity. This is also not the first fan incident that has taken place, in Game 2 between Sixers-Wizards, a fan decided to dump a bucket of popcorn onto the head of Russell Westbrook when the player was exiting the arena.

It was the third quarter of the game and the play had just picked up pace. While the players were approaching the Washington Wizards’ bucked that is when the play was halted by a fan.

After beginning this season with zero spectators allowed at its arena, Washington has steadily increased the capacity to the point where Game 4 against Philadelphia 76ers had an announced attendance more than 10,000. It just seems like another day! another game! Scenario in the 2020-21 NBA playoffs as every other day there is a new incident that takes place.

Having said that all of those incidents have occurred during the first round. It is really unfortunate that the fans continue to act like this, especially after a full season and a full playoff run without fans after Covid-19 pandemic
