“In the midst of that battle – or whatever you want to call it. In the midst of the storm, it’s just a matter of keeping everybody composed,” said Carmelo Anthony on LeBron James and Isaiah Stewart fight. “We could’ve easily let the game slip away. But as a team we needed to come together at that moment.”

“It’s unfortunate about what happened, but we needed something like that to spark our fire. We haven’t had anything like that to test us from a physical standpoint. Although like I said, it’s unfortunate what happened but we needed that to spark something – and it did.”

Having said that, the LA Lakers entered the fourth quarter down 15 but found a way to win it despite LeBron James being ejected from the contest. The circumstances may not be great, but perhaps as Carmelo Anthony said, this incident could be the spark they need going forward.
