“LeBron James needs help”- NFL Analyst denounces Lakers team for their Lack of Support for LeBron James

LeBron James is the last hope for the LA Lakers shot at surviving the remaining NBA Season but things aren’t quite going in the way where they should be leading.

The pressure and responsibility on James’s shoulder are increasing with each game. Even yesterday, WNBA players Chiney Ogwumike talked about how the times have changed for the NBA. Who thought once ruled how’d face tough competition? But that’s what sports do. With each era comes new development and overtakes the existing one.

James may have four MVPs under his belt and maybe penance of his age still the young guys are keeping up with him shows that the standard of NBA has risen drastically.

There is no doubt that LeBron James is one of the most offensively and defensively dominating players in the league but basketball isn’t a one-man sport.

It is quite evident that the LA Lakers are struggling to grasp onto something that could be their terra firma but things are just too shaky right now. The Lakers are continuously hit with injuries and lack of presence on the court.

Anthony Davis is out with an injury, and Russell Westbrook has no time to get away from his turn-overs, so everything is falling onto LeBron James’ shoulders along with the burden of proving himself. Expectations are high but the stakes are high too.

In yesterday’s match against the San Antonio Spurs, the Staples Centre witnessed the blowout defeat of the Lakers. The Spurs destroyed the Lakers in a 138-110 game. Matches are a sequence of wins and losses but when you have the best of the leagues assembled under one roof then it is more of proving yourself, and the Lakers have failed at that.

On the recent, First Things First, Kevin wildes talks about how LeBron James has to do it all by himself because there’s no support from his fellow teammates on the court. He had to pull a 1-on-5 jumper shot when his teammates failed to fall back for the offense.

Kevin said, “The Lakers ended up losing their 4th in a row to the Spurs and a common criticism is that ‘LeBron needs help!’ because literally, he has to do it by himself.”

He further continues, “In the fourth quarter with 8 minutes o the clock, the Lakers are down by 16 and when gets the rebounds in the outlet failed to fall back for the offense, unlike the Spurs who stand high in defense. But guess who was there? Yes, James is all by himself with 1-on-5. This seems like an indictment on Lakers chemistry, effort, and overall sense. This was the final game in Staples and it ended with Lakers’ no effort game.

Now, this isn’t what made the Lakers a strong team, and if this continues then maybe the glorious past would just remain a tale of the past.
