The Milwaukee Bucks locked horns against the Brooklyn Nets in the inaugural match of the 75th edition of the NBA. Yet the night did not end on the right page for the defending champion. After receiving their championship ring as the season kicked off in the front of their fans at Fiserv Forum, marquee player and part of their Big 3, Jrue Holiday picks up an injury which ruled him out of remaining game against the Kevin Durant led Brooklyn Nets.
After a hyped performance by the Bucks in the first quarter Jrue Holiday was on point on both the ends of the court. However after picking an injury in the first half of the game itself, the 31-years-old guard made his way into the dressing room. According to the Milwaukee Bucks’ injury update, Jrue Holiday has suffered from a heel contusion.

Jrue Holiday, while he was on the court managed to score 12 points for the home team. He went for 5 of 7 and was looking dangerous whenever he shot the ball inside the paint. Jrue Holiday Injury scare might haunt the Bucks, if it anything serious as the Bucks play the Philadelphia 76ers next. Playing for roughly around 18 minutes, Holiday seemed to start his form from just where he left in the previous season.
The Milwaukee Bucks led by as many as 18 points in the first half against the Brooklyn Nets, who surely made a slow start without Kyrie Irving. After the first quarter, Patty Mills inspired the Bucks to make a significant comeback into the game. As a result of which, the away team went into the half time with a lead just over 4 points.
Having said the severity of Jrue Holiday injury is unknown. But hopefully for the defending champions, it doesn’t rule out their marquee guard as the road in the 75th edition is surely going to be tough.
