Nets poor shooting from the 3 point line was a major factor for the loss against the Suns. The team made only 30.4% of their attempted 3-pointers that is 7 out of 23 attempts. Being quite good on defensive end and making decisions regarding shifting Lamarcus Aldridge on Chris Paul were good enough to stop the ball movement but it didn’t help in breaking the rhythm the veteran guard had and Nets were never able to close the lead.

Skip Bayless

Skip Bayless being a sports columnist took on the team after the game via Twitter showcasing the efforts of Kevin Durant having 39 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assist and 4 steals stating him like always as the best player in the league. He further added that the Big 3 of Nets have fallen down and now it’s only a Big 1 since Kevin Durant is putting all the work in since Kyrie Irving isn’t available for any games as of now due to not being vaccinated and James Harden is also struggling with his game since the rules have changed.

The critic in his tweet quoted that: “Kevin Durant goes for 39/9/7 with 4 steals but gets virtually no help from Harden (0-6 from three) as Suns move to 16-3 with a significant win at Brooklyn. Nets have gone from a Big 3 to a Big 1.” while taking a shot towards James Harden.

The beard was not having a good time taking shots from the 3 point line today and ended up making none of them, but still managed to get a triple double for the team making some good passes and rebounding the ball. James also lost the possession committing 7 turnovers and overall the team had 20 which eventually gifted the ball to Pheonix and also the game since both the stars of Suns, Devin Booker and Chris Paul had a hot hand on the offensive side. Kevin Durant and team was making constant efforts to comeback in the game from the halftime itself. Kevin Durant even pulled up with his jumper inside the line alot to overcome the lead and made many shots but that was not enough and resulted in a home loss for Steve Nash’s Brooklyn Nets.
