“KD is a wanderer but I can build around Giannis” Colin Cowherd through major shade at Kevin Durant by praising Giannis Antetokounmpo

On one hand where Kevin Durant has struggled majorly to make an impact for the Brooklyn Nets in the postseason ever since he has started to represent Brooklyn Nets, Giannis Antetokounmpo has taken over the modern-day NBA with his utter dominance. Moreover, as the Milwaukee Bucks heads deeper into the postseason, it looks the wrath of the Greak Freek reaches its pea, the same was highlighted by sports media analyst Colin Cowherd.

Being regarded as one of the most brutal sports analysts, Cowherd went onto acknowledge the offensive juggernaut Kevin Durant has become, but threw major shade at him from jumping from team to team and not being able to deliver, majorly citing the Nets awful record in the playoffs. On the other hand, he acknowledged how Giannis Antetokounmpo has been able to embrace the safe.

How did Colin Cowherd praise Giannis Antetokounmpo?

“First of all, Giannis Antetokounmpo is gonna age better and have a longer prime,” he said on a recent episode of The Herd with Collin Cowherd. “Now, KD is the great offensive player but he’s been knicked up now for about four years. Also, he’s a wanderer. You never know can you really build around KD? I know I can build around Giannis for the next 10 years in Milwaukee, and that has huge value to me.

Fans would be aware how Durant walked away from the Thunder a few years ago to join Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors. KD did that again in 2019 to team up with Kyrie Irving with the Brooklyn Nets. Right now, Colin Cowherd isn’t confident that Durant won’t do it again, thus his hesitation to theoretically build a franchise around him.

With Giannis Antetokounmpo and his Bucks locking horns against the Boston Celtics in the EC semi-final series, all eyes will be if the reigning Finals MVP is able to get the better of the same team who clean swept KD and Brooklyn Nets. Will Cowherd be embracing the prowess of Giannis even more in a week’s time, remains to be seen.
