Russell Westbrook has been at the helm of all criticism while the LA Lakers have looked lackluster throughout the 2021-22 season. On one hand, where the purple and gold army haven’t been able to consistently register wins, Westbrook has not been able to live up to his hype. As a result, of which fans have urged the Lakers to trade Westbrook, deeming the acquisition as a ‘regret’, to which now Brodie has decided to reply upon.

Westbrook himself recently faced these questions head-on. When asked if he holds any regrets about making the big move to the Lakers to team up with LeBron and the Lakers, Russ responded in a very straightforward manner, “No,” Westbrook said, via Sam Amick of The Athletic“Nah. I mean, not at all, because — like I told you — it’s bigger than basketball for me.”

Russell Westbrook might be the leading triple-double scorer and has even got the most in this season as well. But that indeed has hampered the form of the most iconic team, as they have flunked against top-rated team since the beginning.

Given that the Lakers have beaten Utah Jazz in their previous contest, and LeBron James has publicly apologized for the team’s run in the 2021-22 season.
