James Harden takes a sigh of relief after Matisse Thybulle saved the Philadelphia 76ers from a disappointing loss against the Cleveland Cavalier on Sunday night.

The game was intense between both teams as the Sixers were fighting to confirm their seats in the playoffs, whereas on the other side the Cavaliers were battling to get into the top six seeds of the east and avoid the play-in tournament but Matisse Thybulle’s steal in the final seconds covered James Harden’s mistakes in crucial moments’ and brought the results into the favor of the Sixers where they edged out the Cavs by 112-108.

The game was full of back and forth between the Sixers & Cavs, no team was allowing the other to get a big lead, so it was obvious that the game result will be decided in the last seconds. When only 10 secs were remaining the 76ers had the lead of 3 points but the possession was with the Cavaliers and one bad pass from Kevin Love changed the game.

Love tried to pass the ball to Darius Garland the sharpshooter of the Cavs to make a quick three-pointer, but the ball was intercepted by Matisse Thybulle who then made a sitting pass to Tobias Harris for a game securing dunk.

Despite suffering from a sore ankle, Joel Embiid still entered the court to make the game-winning performance for the team. The Sixers big man scored 44 points, grabbed 17 rebounds, and blocked five times. He was also exceptional from the free-throw line, as he made 17 free throws with three 3-pointers in his 38 minutes on the court.

Meanwhile, James Harden’s also scored 21 points but made only 4 out of 13 field goals and 2 out of 7 shots from behind the arc. He also completed his second triple-double with the Sixers squad this season with 10 rebounds and 10 assists on the scoreboard.

Although it was not James Harden’s day on the court, he didn’t hold back from heap praising his teammate for the MVP level performance to make the Philadelphia 76ers qualify for playoffs. Harden said “I get to witness his greatness every night, obviously, his offensive numbers tonight are self-explanatory. Defensively, he was very active blocking shots, changing shots, and clogging the paint up was key
