The modern-day NBA is known to be very strange for various reason and the most recent incident just goes to show just why. During the Pistons vs 76ers clash, Joel Embiid just got a technical foul after taking to himself. The former MVP runner-up seems to have got excited after throwing down on rookie Luka Garza. The four time All-Star then was confused after what happened next with him.

After the epic throwdown, Embiid was seen motivating himself, perhaps he did a little extra. As a result, of which he seems to have been deemed a little too rowdy for the referee. But, to be honest, Joel Embiid did exceedingly well to get the offensive rebound against the 22-years-old rookie during the Pistons vs 76ers showdown. After which, he did deserve to hype himself up by all means.

To the officials’ defense, it’s quite hard to determine who Embiid was talking to in real time. The Philadelphia 76ers big man was facing Luka Garza when he was screaming so you can’t really blame the officials for calling that one, especially when you take into consideration the way they’ve been calling these technical fouls as of late.

Talking about the particular game of Pistons vs 76ers, it was the latter team who got the 8-point victory after being led by Joel Embiid as he knocked game high double-double – 30 points and 18 rebounds. One of which was surely on rookie Luka Garza. Surprisingly Danny Green who was on the floor for more than 28 minutes managed to score 0 points. While all the other starters for the Sixers managed to score in double digits.

On the other hand, for the Detroit Pistons, Saddiq Bey led the offensive unit with 19 points. Kelly Olynyk and marquee player Jerami Grant both scored 14 points each. After this loss, the Pistons have lost 4 out 4 and are currently the only team to have not win any game in the NBA 2021-22 Season.
