There is no doubt about the fact that Mahomes is one of the brightest prospects in the NFL and he has delivered astonishing performances on numerous occasions, however, Colin Cowherd reckons that the star QB’s confidence starts to fade away rapidly when his form goes a little haywire.

Colin claimed that there are two distinct patterns to Mahomes’ performances. One is that he is absolutely incredible and capable of doing what no one else can, while the second pattern is that “when he gets bad, he gets bad fast and he loses confidence really quickly.

I have always compared him to an artist. Sometimes he gets writer’s block, but he also creates masterpieces,” Colin claimed, adding that against the Bengals, he was incredible in the first half, a little off in the second, and absolutely broken in overtime. “He had to be good in overtime, but he wasn’t,” Colin further stated.

Colin also said, “we have seen this emergence of greatness was so overwhelming initially that we didn’t let him grow.” Mahomes surely is the next big thing in the NFL however, he still has a long and illustrious career ahead of him and he deserves to get a little time away from all the hullabaloo to get back with a bang.
