While most were mourning his untimely death, a few weren’t as sensitive as they should have been while Tweeting about Dwayne. Renowned NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported on Twitter about the passing of Dwayne Haskins and was reprimanded for his choice of words.

“Dwayne Haskins, a standout at Ohio State before struggling to catch on with Washington and Pittsburgh in the NFL, died this morning when he got hit by a car in South Florida, per his agent Cedric Saunders. Haskins would have turned 25 years old on May 3,” Schefter wrote.

As expected, he was criticized by a lot of people for his Tweet. Most recently, Schefter again took to Twitter to issue an apology for what he said earlier about Dwayne. However, it seems the way he apologized for his mistake has done more harm than good to his reputation as people are now reprimanding him even more.

A lot of fans reacted to Schefter’s apology Tweet claiming that instead of actually feeling sorry for his words, the man is just promoting his podcast. Here are some of the reactions.
