“It’s a tough decision” Peyton Manning makes shocking Tom Brady comparison to Netflix show ‘Emily In Paris’

Peyton Manning compared Tom Brady's retirement situation to the Netflix rom-com show Emily in Paris in his recent appearance on the Saturday Night Live show.

Peyton Manning, former NFL quarterback expressed his love for NetFlix show Emily in pairs, during his surprise visit to a Saturday Night Live. he shocked the NFL fans, who had expected him to speak more on the game and not on what his favourite romantic comedy was.


Emily in Paris is a romantic comedy-drama series where Emily the protagonist struggles to deal with life in Paris after having moved to the French capital from her native country, the USA.

Manning spoke very highly of the show while speaking with host Colin Jost, and even went on to say that the show has kept him pretty hooked, so much so that he has not seen any of the playoff matches this season.

Speaking on the Saturday Night Live show, Peyton Manning said, “Oh, my God, Colin, this show has everything: adventure, sensuality, culture, a fresh take on feminism, finally. Not to mention, a culinary tapestry so rich, I can only describe it as food porn.”

Despite Colin Jost looking to change the topic more towards, NFL, the two time Super Bowl champion did not pay much heed and drew similarities between Tom Brady’s retirement choice to Emily’s current predicament in the show.

Peyton then left everyone surprised as he compared Brady’s career and NFL to Emily in Paris and said, “Yeah, I’m not sure it’s true. I think it’s probably just speculation, but if it were me, I probably would retire, too, if it gave me more time to watch Emily in Paris. And I really think for Tom right now, it’s just a tough decision between balancing his career and relationships — sort of like Emily.”
