The NFL, undoubtedly, is one of the biggest leagues in the world. Innumerable youngsters every year work super hard to get drafted in one of the sides. It is a league that changes lives. So many superstars have gained riches after starting from scratch and have given us a lot to cheer about.
Although the league keeps getting involved in controversies from time to time, it is a fact that it positively impacts innumerable people. Not just for all the action during the regular and postseason, the NFL is known for all the high-octane drama during the offseason.
“We feel like we had a really good offseason”: Robert Saleh
Commenting on the same, New York Jets Head Coach Robert Saleh had a few things to say. In a video uploaded by NFL Network on its official Twitter handle, Saleh can be heard saying that the NFL is actually the world’s longest soap opera.
“We feel like we had a really good offseason. Obviously, we may not have hit the headlines with our star players but still felt like we took a really good step this offseason,” he said, adding that it is indeed a delight to watch the league work.
“It’s fun to watch the league work, I mean, it is the world’s longest soap opera so it’s pretty cool to watch,” Robert further added. The Jets had a disastrous 2021 season with only 4 wins and as many as 13 losses. It will be interesting to see if they change things around in the coming season.
