The Baltimore Ravens have a lot to figure out during the offseason, as they look to build a good team for the upcoming 2022 NFL season. They have started on the right note, as they finalised the contract extension of their head coach John Harbaugh.

However, there’s still another issue which needs sorting out and it is the contract of their premier wide receiver, Lamar Jackson. The 25-year old has stalled off talks with the franchise regarding a long term contract something which is a bit of a surprise at this day and age.

Lamar Jackson has not shown much intent on getting himself a contract extension with the Baltimore Ravens

Despite not agreeing to a new deal with the franchise, the Baltimore Ravens fans will breathe a huge sigh of relief after the former NFL MVP clarified himself on his official Twitter account.

Lamar Jackson called out those who were trying to create a rift between him and the franchise and said that he’s not leaving the Baltimore Ravens anytime soon. He also said that rumours about him leaving are all “false narratives” and he loves his Ravens.

I love my Ravens I don’t know who the hell putting that false narrative out that I’m having thoughts about leaving stop tryna read my mind🙄,” Lamar Jackson wrote Wednesday on his official Twitter account.

Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti recently spoke on Lamar Jackson’s contractual situation at the NFL annual meeting. He too like everyone else was surprised at how laid back the wideout is in handling his contract extension talks.
