Dak Prescott, the Dallas Cowboys’ star quarterback, has been phenomenal in recent weeks. The quarterback had the worst season of his NFL career last year as he led the league in interceptions with 15. There was a lot of pressure on Prescott to perform this season and he has been brilliant so far. The signal-caller faced tremendous criticism after last year but has answered all those critics with near MVP-level performances this season.

In his last four games, Prescott has thrown 13 touchdowns and 1 interception. The Cowboys have won all those games as Prescott has had a rating of over 95 in each of those games. The Cowboys latest win came against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday. Prescott had a great game against the Seahawks, throwing for 299 yards and 3 touchdowns, while completing 70 percent of his passes. He talked about his performances and his critics after the game.

Prescott said when asked about his critics:

I have the pen; I have the paper; and I am the one writing. Because I am playing as well as I am now, it doesn’t mean I am going to stop or listen to them now. I appreciate them, but I don’t care about their opinions right now anymore than I did when they were calling for my spot. As I said, I am blessed, this last year has been a reflection of that. A lot of great things have happened in my life and are going to continue to happen in my life because of my mindset and where I put the value of life.

The Cowboys have a record of 9-3 after 12 games. They are one of the best teams in the NFC and, after a rough patch in the middle, have established themselves as Super Bowl contenders in recent weeks. Prescott is firmly in the MVP race and will look to continue his form going forward.

Dak Prescott talks about the Cowboys’ upcoming matchup with the Eagles

The Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles are not only divisional rivals, but also two of the best teams in the league. They are both contenders to win the Super Bowl this season and will meet each other next week on Sunday. The MVP race involves the QBs of both these teams, and the winner of their game next Sunday will likely have an edge over the other in that race. Cowboys’ QB Dak Prescott recently talked about that game.

Prescott said:

We have to stay focused on running our own race and understand that we will get these guys again. This probably won’t be the last time that we get them this season. We know that getting this win next week and continuing this home winning streak is more important than anything. But it doesn’t mean that we won’t see them again.

The Eagles have the best record in the league with 10-1 and are the only team with double-digit wins this season. The Cowboys aren’t far away with a record of 9-3 and are on a four-game winning streak. It is going to be a tasty matchup.
