“I’m going to do it on my terms” Colin Cowherd hits back after getting crushed by the 49ers fans for insensitive remarks against Trey Lance’s injury

“I’m going to do it on my terms” Colin Cowherd hits back after getting crushed by the 49ers fans for insensitive remarks against Trey Lance’s injury

Colin Cowherd is an NFL analyst who’s always been open and straightforward about his remarks for players and teams and Trey Lance was no different.

49ers QB Trey Lance suffered a massive career-ending injury on Sunday, keeping him out for most of the season. This means that Jimmy Garoppolo will take up the QB duties from now on and Colin Cowherd thinks that it’s a blessing in disguise for the 49ers.

“As a fan, you feel bad for Trey Lance, but your team is better today,” Cowherd said. “The 49ers today with Jimmy Garoppolo, I feel comfortable saying that’s a team that can get to the NFC Championship Game. None of us were saying that when the day started.”

Trey Lance had a terrible run in his first two games as the starting QB for the 49ers and people had started the call for Garoppolo to replace Lance. 49ers HC Kyle Shanahan had put his confidence in Trey Lance and support him the whole season as a starting QB, but an unfortunate injury to the 22-year-old diminished all hopes.

Colin Cowherd has always been highly skeptical of Trey Lance and has always believed that Jimmy Garoppolo should be starting in front of him. Garoppolo is a veteran QB who has several championships under his name.

The NFL world is starting to believe that Colin Cowherd holds a personal grudge against Trey Lance and there’s no other reason someone would pass such insensitive comments toward a person who has just suffered a massive injury.

Trey Lance is a young QB who has the potential to be the best in the NFL. Though the QB had a terrible two-game run at the start of the season fans are pretty sure that he will bounce back and be better than ever.

Criticizing someone just to get some views on Youtube isn’t ethical and should not be endorsed. People are ready to hear the facts but downright hate for someone without any reason isn’t justified.

Colin Cowherd has a huge audience on Youtube and Twitter, the Fox Sports analyst should keep that in mind when passing such insensitive comments about a person who has given his all on the field and even suffered a brutal injury that may put him on the sidelines for an entire season.

The 49ers will face the Denver Broncos in their next game of the season and will be looking to add to their one-game winning streak.
