This offseason has witnessed some really dramatic deals. Especially the marquee WRs have been able to take home huge amounts of money. One such deal was that of Tyreek Hill. The Kansas City-based franchise agreed to send Hill to the Miami Dolphins.
This came as a huge blow to the franchise as Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill created a lot of problems for the opposing teams. Hill played two seasons in the league with Alex Smith as his quarterback but really took off when Mahomes began throwing him the ball.
Tyreek Hill reveals why he chose football over track
One of the major reasons why Chiefs fans were furious with his trade is that he is one of the fastest receivers going around in the league. He has been an absolute nightmare for innumerable NFL defensive backs.
In a recent interview with renowned Hollywood star Kevin Hart, Tyreek talked about his journey and sure had a lot of fun as well. Kevin jokingly referred to him as a kitten instead of a Cheetah, something that did not go down well with the WR. “Don’t call me a kitten,” Tyreek said during the interview with a smile on his face.
Tyreek was asked if track was the first thing he was after and football eventually happened. To this, he replied that he started running track during his junior year and football has always been his priority. He stated that his father played football, even his mother played football and he heard and played while growing up was football.
It will be interesting to see how the Cheetah performs in the coming season for his new franchise.
