Mike McDaniel has had a great impact for the Miami Dolphins ever since he was hired. The 40-year old is one of the youngest HCs around in the NFL had has been revolutionary for the game.

However, his off the field endeavours often outshine his on the field actions. During the last season’s wild car game against the Buffalo Bills, McDaniel was seen vaping on the sidelines.

This soon became a nationwide issue and the Dolphins HC often gave cryptic answers regarding it. However, now he has come clean in a recent interview with ‘Pardon my take’ on Barstool Sports. “I will leave you with this. In past lives, I have vaped. Regardless, just the idea of that being something that people are talking about after a playoff game is annoying enough to provoke me to never do it again, and I’ve since quit, classic McDaniel style, cold turkey, just like alcohol,” Mike McDaniel stated on the show.

According to his statements, Mike McDaniel has stopped vaping after the debacle of last season’s sideline incident. However, he was still ominous in his statement and didn’t agree to vaping during the Dolphins-Bills game.

The Dolphins are seriously strengthening their squad before the next division to dominate a highly competitive division. Mike McDaniel will have to navigate through the most difficult division in the NFL and will need all the reinforcements he can add.

According to the rumors, RB Dalvin Cook is going to be released by the Minnesota Vikings and the Dolphins are eager to sign the RB. However, McDaniel has declined to comment on the situation and will wait for the situation to transpire further.

The Dolphins HC was asked for his comments on the situation in a press conference recently. According to McDaniel, he’s not interested in speaking about rumors and will only deal with absolutes. The 40-year old declined the question in his own typical way.

Mike McDaniel is in his 2nd year as an HC for the Dolphins and will try his best to help them compete. Unfortunately, the scales are not in his favour as the Miami based teams are severe underdogs to win the division and even qualify for the playoffs.
