“Man put in more effort than the entire team”: NFL Twitter reacts to the PRICELESS look on a New York Giants fan

This Giants fan was the highlight of the MNF game against the Cowboys

The fans are the backbone of any sport, without a solid fan following, it is not fun to watch any games. They build the whole environment and are a shot of adrenaline to the players on the field. With a supportive fanbase, a team can feel like they can beat any opponent who stands in their way. In the NFL, we have seen fans do some wild stuff to rep their teams and in today’s Monday Night Football game, it was no different, one of the New York Giants fans decided to do something unusual to show his support for the team.

The New York Giants played against the Dallas Cowboys, the team lost the first game of their season 16-23 as Daniel Jones was outplayed by Cooper Rush. DJ threw an interception and had no touchdowns while Saquon Barkley gave the team just one reason to celebrate as he ended up getting a rushing touchdown. A Giants fan decided to paint his entire head in the team colors to represent the home team, however, his expression after the game was priceless as it was a sheer look of disappointment and frustration.

“Looking like a smurf”: The Dallas Cowboys may have stolen the happiness of Giants fans but this fan stole all of the attention.

Daniel Jones and Giants fan
Daniel Jones’ throws left the entire Giants fanbase disappointed.

The fan in question was bald and his entire face with the exception of his lips and eyes was painted blue. He had the iconic red stripe running down the middle of his head and he even had the New York Giants team logo painted on the side of his head. If you saw him from a mile away, you would probably have mistaken him to be a person wearing a Giants’ helmet.

Despite his best efforts to support his team, they fell short of the win and the look on this fan’s face quickly went from excited to disappointed. His face accurately summarizes the plight of sports fans who vouch for teams based out of New York. Year after year, it is just the same cycle of pain, agony, and disappointment. The Giants seemed different this year, starting the season off with a commanding 2-0 record despite Daniel Jones’ making some bad throws. However, the honeymoon phase seems to be done as the Dallas Cowboys gave the Giants the first reality check of the season.

The fan attracted a lot of attention and went viral across social media, here’s what people had to say about him!

Oh, how it hurts to be a Giants fan.

Can definitely see the resemblance between the two!

Hopefully, he had a car. You do not want to use the subway looking like that.

A bit too late. He blued himself already.

You do not want this thing to haunt you in your dreams.

Imagine having your wife look at you clean your face off and ask you, “You did all of that just to watch them lose?” That’s tough.

The person at the gas station may question their own sanity.

Jokes apart, it is fans like him who make football more interesting, tough luck tonight Giants fans but pray that your team pulls it together and is able to win in the coming weeks!
