Odell Beckham Jr is still a free agent, and that is probably giving him plenty of time off the pitch to help in his recovery. The 29-year-old wide receiver is also using this time to remain active on social media platforms.

Odell Beckham Jr won hearts with a great gesture as he wished his former Cleveland Browns teammate Baker Mayfield, ahead of his debut encounter for the Carolina Panthers. Both, Beckham Jr and Baker Mayfield have moved on from the Browns, with the latter doing it last month itself.

It is now a well-established fact that OBJ left the Browns due to his differences with Mayfield at the time, which was followed up by a messy breakup between the player and the franchise. He moved to the Los Angeles Rams and vindicated his move by winning the Super Bowl last season itself, and was also touted as one of the best players in the postseason.

And now it seems, after a successful spell with the Rams, all those differences Odell Beckham Jr had with Baker Mayfield in terms of his style of play have evaporated. In a post done by the official Instagram account of the NFL, which announced the start of the Mayfield era in Carolina, OBJ commented, “Go Shine.”

Mayfield started off his spell with the Panthers by completing 4 of 7 attempts for 45 yards and zero touchdowns in Saturday’s 23-21 win over Washington.
