Tom Brady is currently touted as the greatest of all time. The legendary QB has created an immeasurable legacy that won’t be surpassed anytime soon. He is called the greatest after winning the Super Bowl a record seven times.

However, there was a time when Brady was a reserve quarterback and led the New England Patriots to their first Super Bowl final in many years. The Patriots were up against the formidable Oakland Raiders.

Although Brady secured his first Super Bowl that day, there was a play that’s still shrouded in controversy. During the game, the former QB suffered a fumble and lost possession of the ball. The Patriots were down 13-10 in the final moments of the game, and Brady suffered what everyone thought was a fumble.

However, it was later overturned by the referee due to the ‘tuck rule,’ and the rest is history. Brady went on to win six more Super Bowls after that and soon became the most feared quarterback in the NFL. Many wonder if things would have been completely different if the sack had been given that day.

The Raiders are still salty about that incident, and HC Josh McDaniels believes Brady will have to admit to that being a sack if he is to buy a minority share in the Las Vegas Raiders.

Tom Brady and Josh McDaniels have shared the stage together for many years, when the latter was the offensive coordinator for the New England Patriots. Now, McDaniels is the Raiders’ head coach, and Brady is soon going to be a part owner of the team.

However, for that to happen, the Super Bowl-winning QB will have to admit to the tuck rule. McDaniels is absolutely certain that Brady will admit to the wrongful officiating and states, ‘One hundred percent. No question.’.

Brady built his entire career on the fortunes of the tuck rule. On the other hand, the Raiders have gone downhill since then and have failed to make regular playoff appearances since then. Now, the team is in disarray after the departure of Derek Carr and Davante Adams’ controversial outbursts against the team.

Fortunately, there are some bright spots for the Raiders. Maybe that’s the reason why Tom Brady has shown excitement about being a part-owner of the team and getting into the business of owning sports franchises.
