“Undefeated no more,” NFL Twitter is astonished after the Commanders put an END to Eagles’ undefeated season run

Washington Commanders Philadelphia Eagles
The Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles matchup was looking like a one-sided affair on paper. One team was on top of their division with not a single game in the loss, while the other was dead, struggling with ownership, and had their main QB injured.
In the most passionate display of the game, the Commanders beat the Eagles 32-21 while the whole NFL community was left shell-shocked. The game was enthralling and controversial as the referees were criticized a lot.
The Eagles were 8-0 in the league, the most wins in a row in the franchise’s history. The Jalen Hurts-led team wanted to go the whole season undefeated, but the Commanders had other plans.
The Commanders took advantage of turnover-prone Eagles and decided to make it work for them. The Washington-based team is usually known to end unbeaten runs as they did the same back in the day with Pittsburgh when they broke their 11-0 streak.
However, it was heartbreaking for all the Eagles’ fans who let perfections slip out of their hand. “We started 8-0 together, we lost this game together, we’re going to move on together,” Eagles coach Nick Sirianni said.
The game was deemed controversial as there were many calls late in the game that weren’t given in the Eagles’ favor. The most prominent of them was the hand in the face of Jalen Hurts, which was overlooked by the referees.
NFL Twitter was excited and shell-shocked after the Eagles were beaten by the Commanders

Not many people had the confidence that the Eagles would finish the season undefeated, but everyone thought that if they were to lose, it would be against the Chiefs, Bills, or the Bucs. The Commanders were a surprise package that completely decimated them.
NFL Twitter went berserk after the result of the game and paid tribute to the fallen Eagles, who managed to get an amazing streak on the board. While the Eagles’ fans were heartbroken, the Giants and Cowboys fans were enjoying their misery.
The referees were brutally roasted by NFL Twitter as well, as they were clearly not present throughout the game and missed controversial late calls that would have turned the tide of the game.
In all fairness, Commander displayed great passion and presented to all NFL teams that the Eagles are vulnerable and can be beaten this season.
The Eagles will now look to move on from this disastrous week and focus on their next game against the Colts and redeem themselves again as true Super Bowl contenders.
