Tyreek Hill has found himself all over the headlines as he finds himself moving to South Beach in a gigantic trade from the Kansas City Chiefs to the Miami Dolphins.

The whole move came as a bit of a shock but when really looking into the details, it starts to make sense. Tyreek Hill saw Davante Adams be made the highest-paid receiver in the NFL and he wanted a slice of that pie. Well, he wanted more than just a slice.

The Chiefs apparently made an offer to Hill that would make him one of the highest-paid receivers but that wasn’t enough for him. Tyreek Hill wanted to have the biggest contract. And so, the Chiefs figured that they would move on from in and get something out of it rather than lose him to free agency.

The Chiefs sent Tyreek Hill to the Dolphins and in return got their 2022 1st, 2nd, and 4th round picks as well as a 4th and 6th rounder from 2023. It’s a massive payoff for a star player but the real pay went to Tyreek Hill and his agent Drew Rosenhaus described how it happened.

In a segment of Colin Cowherd’s show ‘The Herd’, Drew Rosenhaus, Tyreek Hill’s agent, was asked about how the trade went down and how he got his client the most lucrative contract for a receiver to which he said “I told every team that was a part of the trade exactly what we were looking for. I told them that Tyreek would become the highest paid receiver in the NFL and that we wanted to beat the Adams contract on every level.”

Rosenhaus further added “No one really said it was unreasonable or unrealistic because Tyreek is more than a receiver. He’s a great return man, can score from any part of the field, you put the ball in his hands and he’s dangerous. He’s an impact player when the ball isn’t even thrown to him. He’s a weapon and the Dolphins got the best offensive weapon in football.”

With Tyreek Hill now in Miami, they have a very explosive receiving group with the pairing of Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Whether or not they can use them to take their offense and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to the next level is something NFL fans can’t wait to see come September this year.
