The Cleveland Browns have become a hot destination for a lot of players ahead of the 2022 season. With the recent trade for Deshaun Watson completed along with another trade for Amari Cooper, the Browns may be able to add another superstar, Antonio Brown.
It sounds outrageous as everyone knows what Antonio did before he was thrown out of the Bucs camp. After that, all teams would a tad nervous to rope in him. Moreover, there is still not a lot of clarity about how good his ankle is at the present moment.
After Deshaun Watson, are the Browns getting ready to rope in another controversial player in Antonio Brown?
However, it is likely that he will get fit before the start of the 2022 season. The Cleveland Browns have roped in some really exciting talents and are not shying away from breaking the bank to get the players they want. Despite the sexual harassment allegations, they gave a record deal to Deshaun.
This has to go down as one of the boldest moves by a franchise in recent NFL history as Deshaun might have to face some really drastic repercussions for his alleged actions. However, the Browns took the risk, which is why it won’t be a huge surprise if they rope in Antonio as well.
Although the Browns haven’t said anything related to Antonio till now, the Antonio-Browns equation doesn’t seem outrageous. Moreover, Antonio has been pretty vocal when it comes to letting everyone know for which team he wants to play. “Cleveland Antonio Browns,” he had tweeted a few days ago.
It will be interesting to see if the Browns end up adding another controversial figure to their otherwise impressive squad.
