After back-to-back losses against the Saints and Washington, Brady and Co. scripted a brilliant comeback. They are on a three-game winning streak. However, their last win wasn’t an easy one to come by. After putting up a terrific performance in the first half, the Buccaneers allowed the Bills to make a comeback in the second half.

The game went into extra time where Tampa Bay eventually prevailed by 33-27. However, many experts and fans were not impressed with particularly Brady’s performance. Speaking about the same, Shannon Sharpe had a few important points to make.

Talking about how impressive Tom Brady’s performance was against the Bills on a scale of 1-10, Shannon claimed that what happened with Tampa Bay was actually Brady’s fault. “I gave him a 7 because of the last drive of the game. If it weren’t for that I would’ve given him a 5 because a large part of what happened to Tampa was Brady’s fault.”

Josh Allen had the same opportunity to do what Brady did because he got the ball first in overtime but he didn’t get it done,” he said adding that he has never seen Brady play as bad in the second half as he did. He also claimed that the defense saved the Buccaneers otherwise the result would have been entirely different.

Even Stephen A Smith had something similar to say about how the Buccaneers, and especially Tom Brady played. “I am concerned, everybody is raving about Tom Brady and he looked fantastic in the first half, but he was less than impressive in the second half,” he said.

He also added that Tampa Bay needs to be more consistent and proficient if they want to make it to the Super Bowl. “In the end, what you saw from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the second half is not going to cut it. You are not getting back to the Super Bowl playing like that, you have to be more proficient and more effective.”
