Shannon Sharpe Tears Down Into Dak Prescott For Failing The Cowboys Against The Chiefs

The Dallas Cowboys were tamed in a pretty ordinary display as they were tossed upside down by the mighty Kansas City Chiefs, thanks to an exultant display from their star quarterback, Patrick Mahomes. Sadly, for the Cowboys, their quarterback, Dak Prescott was all over the place and couldn’t even come close to what Mahomes did for the Chiefs.
Prescott threw 28-of-43 for 216 yards that also featured a couple of interceptions. Mahomes threw 23-of-37 for 260 yards and chimed in with a crucial interception. He also bagged 7 carries for 63 yards. Shannon Sharpe opened about the showdown posted by Prescott and directly made him culpable for the dismal show against the Chiefs.
This is what Shannon Sharpe had to say about Dak Prescott

He quoted, “The $75M man, Dak Prescott is why the Cowboys lost this game. This was his opportunity to go head-to-head with a big gun in Mahomes. Dak gets paid as a big game QB, so he has to deliver in big games.” He blasted Dak for squandering this opportunity to prove himself as a big gun, also adding to the rant that he missed a couple of his players.
In the context of his last statement, he quoted that Aaron Rodgers went to Arizona without three of his major weapons and came up with a scintillating victory. Sharpe was absolutely livid in his tirade against Rodgers as he quoted that with all said and done, he needs to do his job because the payments copped by Dak are of a big-game quarterback and no excuses would suffice.
Sharpe was absolutely relentless against Dak. He stated that the Cowboys’ defence was absolutely phenomenal. Sharpe expected the Cowboys to bag at least 16 and he wanted Dak to lead them in their pursuit. With every passing second, Sharpe rocked Prescott even more and the show was ablaze with his philippic. The next assignment for the Cowboys will be the Las Vegas Raiders and it will simply be more challenging than ever.
