“I’m Not Going To Bash The Brother”: Shaquille O’Neal Backs Antonio Brown On Shirtless Meltdown, Praises Tom Brady

Antonio Brown absolutely loves to hog the limelight. Not long ago, he pulled out the biggest stunt of his career during the Bucs game against the Jets. Suddenly in the third quarter of the contest, Brown tossed his T-shirt and gloves into the crowd and ran towards the sidelines shirtless.

Needless to say, after what he did, it was evident that he will be criticized and that is exactly what happened. Moreover, he was kicked out of the Bucs’ camp for his meltdown. After the game, coach Bruce Arians made it clear that it was the end of the road for Antonio with the Bucs. “He is no longer a Buc,” Arians had said.

Tom Brady, one of the players who has always backed Antonio also reacted to his meltdown. He had said, “I think everybody should hopefully do what they can to help him in ways that he really needs it, we all love him. We care about him deeply. We want to see him be at his best,” and now, legendary basketball player Shaquille O’Neal has also come out in support of Antonio.

A lot of fans and experts were opining that Tom Brady should have reprimanded Antonio even more. However, in a recent interview with The Buzz, Shaq praised Brady for perfectly handling the Antonio controversy. When asked about his thoughts on Antonio, Shaq said, “One thing I’m not going to do is bash the brother.” He adds, “I’ve never met him. I know at one point he was one of the top athletes in the world. Something happened that we don’t know about.”

Talking about Tom Brady, Shaq said, “If you look at what the great Tom Brady said, “I care about him, just hope he gets the help he needs.” That’s right there, like you know because Tom’s the greatest in the world.” O’Neal then went on to joke about Brady’s G20 classification.

“He has G20 classification. See, I only got G14. Tom has the presidential congressional classification,” he added.
