Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills may have lost their divisional-round matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs but he won the hearts of every spectator watching the unbelievable thriller. Allen provided one of the best playoff performances of all time and likely would be playing in his 2nd straight AFC championship game had the Bills won the overtime coin toss.

After each game ended this weekend, we were left shell shocked by the ending and thought there’s no way the next game could get better but every single game only got more intense and dramatic as the weekend went on. It ended with the Bills and Chiefs going at it in Arrowhead Stadium in what could be regarded as the best playoff game ever.

The 42-36 final score, while that says a lot, doesn’t tell the full story of the dramatics and the heartbreak. In the last 2 minutes alone both the Chiefs and Bills looked in position to take the game, but the other team kept storming back, and even with only 13 seconds left in the game, Patrick Mahomes managed to get his team into field goal range to kick the tying score and send the game into overtime.

It was set to be a performance for the ages by Josh Allen, though. He had absolutely played his heart out and done everything humanly possible to win the game for his team and get revenge for last year’s AFC championship loss. It was meant to be however but the performance still stands and Allen is only receiving praise for it including from Mike Greenberg.

Mike Greenberg appeared on ESPN’s ‘Get Up’ and had nothing but praise for Josh Allen, saying “I thought Josh Allen is a really good player. I was wrong. He’s way better than I have given him credit for being. He right now is as good as anybody. he may be on the verge of being the best player in the league. That’s the reason his offensive coordinator is about to be a head coach somewhere.”

Former Colts’ center Jeff Saturday also was on the show and he too was showing the love for Josh Allen adding “He’s worked his craft. He has found ways to get better each season and he’ll continue to do that. But when you watch him in the biggest moments, the game is slow for him and whether that’s pulling the ball down or throwing the right routes against the right coverage, this guy has developed every facet of his game and it’s so impressive when you see somebody who’s really trained and worked his craft and get so much better. It’s special.”

Josh Allen and the Bills may have lost again in the playoffs but no one can fault the star QB. He did everything right this postseason and he continues to only get better and better. It may be tough right now but Bills fans have a lot to be happy about because their future is in safe hands as long as Josh Allen is commanding their offense.
