Tom Brady says NFL issued a warning after he threw his tablet

Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ quarterback Tom Brady simply doesn’t seem to get away from the spotlight, for all the wrong reasons in the past couple of weeks. It all started in Week 15 of the NFL, when the legendary quarterback played out one of the worst matches of his career, as the Buccaneers were condemned to a 9-0 defeat against the New Orleans Saints.

Brady was shut out for the first time in 15 years, and he did not take the result lightly showing his frustrations on the pitch itself that night. In an infamous incident after the match, Tom Brady shattered a Microsoft tablet in disappointment while sitting on the bench.

It created a viral moment on the internet, as pictures and videos were shared, and even after almost 2 weeks since the incident, it just doesn’t seem to let go of Tom Brady.

Brady said he got a warning from the league about his Surface smash, as he said on his “Let’s Go!” podcast with Jim Gray that he’ll catch a fine if he does it again, via ESPN.

“I did get a warning from the NFL. I can’t throw another Surface or else I get fined. Imagine that! Imagine that,” said Tom Brady on the sanctions he received from NFL.

Brady however, made it known that he would not repeat the act ever again on the pitch, claiming it was a one-off incident sparked due to frustration.

“I won’t throw another Surface,” Brady said. “Although I think it was pretty good marketing for the Surface at the end of the day. I think it worked out pretty well for them.”
