Rosberg explained how after Lewis Hamilton won the title in 2017, his trophy was taken from him and delivered to his former rival in a car. “You have to give the World Championship back!” He said while serving punditry duties with Sky. “You only get to keep it for a year. I had to give it to Lewis,” continued Rosberg.

He also explained how his trophy was taken from him, put in a car boot, and delivered to his former rival. “No, I had someone pick it up from my house, put it in a boot and drive it to Lewis’ home. That was not cool!” Said the German. After winning his first driver’s title, Rosberg announced his retirement. Lewis Hamilton went on to win three more championships after 2017.
