“Not used to losing feeling”: Stephen Curry calls to improve the team this season

Stephen vocals about need to improve amid stinging loosing streak

Stephen Curry

The Golden State Warriors haven’t been in their prime for the majority of the season so far. The Dubs nation haven’t got back their winning streak since long. After injuries plagued their roster back 2years, they have not just got their comeback. Although Stephen Curry and Draymond Green have come back to the side, Klay Thompson is out with another injury this season. However, Stephen Curry has led the team by example. Yet they haven’t tasted the sweet victory very often.

The past two years have really been tough for the team. The plethora of injuries and trades left no hope last season. The GSW are now on a halt. The team has also not been doing so great. Their loss to the San Antonio Spurs added more to their misery. Curry tried almost everything. He exploded for 32 points in 36 minutes. Despite all efforts, Warriors fell short of victory. Draymond Green pulled off a double-double with 10 rebounds and 10 assists but in vain. The whole team is upset with their recent terrible display of game.

Stephen Curry unhappy with GSW Losses this season

Stephen Curry has been the only Warrior who tried to pull off in almost every game. In their 2nd game against the Dallas Mavericks, once again it was Stephen Curry once again trying to pull off a win. He got 57 points. This was his second game with more than 55 points previously being a 62-point game. Yet, they couldn’t overcome the Mavs. Their back to back losses has made Steph really upset. In the post-game interview, Curry revealed that there are glaring issues the team needs to rectify. He said, “Losing sucks. We all know that. No matter what the reason is, you can kind of nitpick each game. Turnover, fouls, or offensive rebounds, or whatever the case is, it leads to a loss. So we don’t want to be in a situation where we get used to the losing feeling. That’s not who we are. That’s not what we’re about.”

He added, “Down the stretch, just have to get it done for a myriad of reasons so. It is frustrating, obviously no secret about that. Walking off the court was one of those weird nights where it was back and forth and we had momentum in the fourth, and they made a couple more plays down the stretch. Tough night.”

Undoubtedly the Warriors are lacking consistency. Be it Stephen Curry, Draymond Green or Kelly Oubre Jr., this Ball game isn’t a single player game. There has to be a team effort for glory. Stephen Curry was vocal about the need to pull the team out of the slump. Hopefully they encounter some miracle to save their spot in the playoffs this season.
