When the roof of a railway station in Novi Sad collapsed at the beginning of November, causing deaths and injuries, Novak Djokovic took to X to offer his condolences to those affected by the disaster. This time, the Serb urged the authorities to listen to the voices of the youth.
The unfortunate tragedy led to widespread demonstrations in the country as they accused the authorities of corruption, negligence, and irresponsibility. The railway station has been renovated twice and the protesters are convinced that corruption is the main reason behind poor work.
Students have also come out on the street to protest, demanding documents about the renovation of the railway station. They are also accusing President Aleksandar Vucic of manipulating the media.
Djokovic, who was born in Belgrade, which is about 100km away from Novi Sad, the second largest city in Serbia, has now given his remarks on the protests.
As someone who deeply believes in the strength of young people and their desire for a better future, I believe it is important for their voices to be heard. Serbia has enormous potential and educated youth is its greatest strength. What we all need is understanding and respect. With you, Novak.

Оно што је свима нама потребно је разумевање и поштовање. Уз вас,Новак.
Christopher Eubanks reacts as Novak Djokovic pair up with Nick Kyrgios in Brisbane
Novak Djokovic had a forgetful season in 2024 but he has now started preparing for the next season and will kickstart his campaign at the Brisbane International. Djokovic will be playing doubles with home favorite Nick Kyrgios, who is set to make his return to tennis in Brisbane following an injury layoff.

World No.107 Christopher Eubanks has now given his opinion on Djokovic and Kyrgios joining hands for doubles. He talked about how they’ve forgotten a sour relationship and started supporting each other.
I love to see them able to come together. I think we have seen a bit of a topsy-turvy relationship between the two. They have been able to make amends and seem to be having a bit of a bromance at various points. We have seen Nick on social media being one of Novak’s biggest supporters and cheering him on at certain points.
Chris Eubanks told Tennis Channel
The 24-time Grand Slam champion was slamless in 2024, winning just the gold medal at the Paris Olympics. Kyrgios on the other hand last played an official match at the 2023 Stuttgart Open.
