Novak Djokovic chasing several milestones in 2021

Novak Djokovic with the Australian Open 2020 title

Novak Djokovic will have a busy 2021 season in which he will chase several milestones. The top priority in his list of goals for the 2021 season is to attain the historic World number one ranking. Novak Djokovic will start his 301st week at the top of ATP rankings this week, just nine weeks behind Federer’s tally of 310 weeks. If all goes in the Serbian’s favor, he can achieve the historic ranking by March 8.

Novak Djokovic will also aim for an Olympic Gold Medal at Tokyo 2021, which will probably be his last chance of winning an Olympic Singles Gold. The Serbian will also look forward to completing his Career Golden Slam after winning the Gold Medal at Tokyo.

Novak Djokovic has 17 Grandslam titles to his name, just three short of Nadal’s and Federer’s joint tally of 20 majors. He will look forward to narrow down the gap in 2021, by winning more Grandslam titles, starting with the Australian Open in February.
