Novak Djokovic to equal the record of Pete Sampras
The legend of the sport Pete Sampras has the record of ending six-year with the World No. 1 spot. The Serbian, Rafa and Federer have 5 year-ends as World No.1 respectively. At present, Novak leads the ATP board with 11,740 points as on 19th October 2020. The second rank is held by Rafael Nadal with points adding to 9850.
This difference in the rankings points will allow Novak to end the 2020 season as number 1. The Serbian has already broken the record of Pete Sampras, his idol, after spending more weeks at the top spot. Now if Novak extends the ranking to week 310, he will break another Sampras record.
