At present we use many vegetable oils in our kitchen assuming that it is better for health as compared to Ghee and coconut oil.

Vegetable Oils are healthy while ghee/coconut oil containing saturated fats are unhealthy and raises the risk of heart diseases and cardiovascular problems.

Its just a myth. How…? As we know that Saturated fats are good. It is found in real food not in junk food, which is good for health.
Now talk about unsaturated fats, which are monounsaturated and polyunsaturated.

Polyunsaturated are subdivided into omega- 3 and omega-6’s.
Let me clear one thing first, if the vegetable oils contain the vegetable word in it, it doesn’t mean, it is healthy.

Vegetable oils are very unstable at high temperature and grow rancid when used for cooking. This triggers free radical, which also increase inflammation. And chronic inflammation is the risk factor in heart diseases.

Other than this, the optimal ratio of omega-6 and omega -3 is needs to be maintained. Why..?

Because omega -3 decreases chronic inflammation and omega -6 promotes chronic inflammation.

Inflammation leads to many heart diseases, arthritis and diabetes.
So the ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 should be 1:1 and nearly equal to this.

That’s why I am suggesting to replace vegetable oils with ghee and coconut oil to maintain that ratio.
