Official bids by Doha and Riyadh submitted for hosting Asian Games 2030

The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) has announced on Thursday that, Doha and Riyadh have proposed an official bid to host the 2030 Asian Games.
Saudi Arabia has never arranged an OCA multi-sport event but Saudi Arabia did host 2006 Games once.
“The OCA is delighted to receive two strong bids for our Asian Games in 2030,” the governing body’s president, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah, said in a statement.
“It shows the trust and confidence in the Olympic Movement in Asia and further enhances our reputation of hosting world-class sporting events on a major scale,” he added.
The Games 2022 will be hosted by Chinese city Hangzhou and the 2026 Games arrangement will be made by Aichi-Nagoya in Japan.
