This makes the game very much unfair for honest players. Garena combats this using some effective anti cheat software. Over the past two weeks, Garena has gotten rid of over 1.3 million cheaters in Free Fire. This statistic shows a 11% increase in cheaters within the game. Additionally, garena has taken action against over 60,000 accounts for intentionally teaming up with cheaters. Upwards of 33,000 players faced the consequences for the dame last time around. All these accounts are permanently suspended. Less than half of these cheaters were found thanks to player reports, which means that they actually are working on keeping the game fair and fun.

50% of cheaters were using auto aim hacks. Additionally, 38% of hackers used teleportation hacks, allowing them to instantly move from place to place. 5% of players used hacks to find out the enemy positions beforehand and 1% used a hack that let them phase through cover and walls. The reason behind the bans of the remaining 6% were not specified.
