Its no surprise that Sindhu has had an amazing career filled with some of the biggest Achievements in Badminton world and she has been the first Indian in many of these achievements. Be it BWF World Tour Finals Tittle or The World Championships Tittle Sindhu has it all and obviously to compliment them all and fulfil her achievements she has the Olympic Silver Medal from Rio 2016.

Sindhu is not only peculiarly famous for her status as the “Queen Of Majors” or a “Big Tournament Player” but her global popularity comes from her status as being the richest female Badminton Player on the planet, named twice by the reputed Forbes magazine for consecutive years and it seems this year will be the third straight year that she may appear in that list due to the huge and well deserved prize money and massive endorsements she obtained after winning the biggest tittle of 2019, The Prestigious BWF World Championships.

Sindhu was named amongst top 10 Richest Female Athletes in the world by the Forbes magazine. Her earnings surpassed that of Tennis No.1s like Simona Halep

However, when we look at Sindhu’s career, we see a pattern of her making podium finishes at the biggest tournaments even since she was just a teen and that tells us how she has persevered and worked hard to reach the glorious heights that she has. Nobody becomes a legend overnight, it takes a strong will and determined faith to achieve the greatest heights and Sindhu has proved time and again that she has it all.

Lets take a Look at Sindhu’s Major Achievements

• 2013 World Championships Bronze
• 2014 World Championships Bronze
• 2016 Olympics Silver
• 2017 World Championships Silver
• 2018 World Championships Silver
• 2018 World Tour Finals Gold
• 2019 World Championships Gold

And these are just the Biggest Achievements and Medals all athletes dream of. I haven’t added her Commonwealth Games, Asian Games and other BWF Tittles, medals of which are all there in her cabinet. Sindhu has over 5 World Championships Medals and that too of all the colours and to know how unique this feat is, I should mention that Sindhu is the only woman singles player after legend Zhang Ning of China to have 5 World Championship Medals. If Sindhu wins another one in future she may become the only woman singles player to have 6 and with her form at Major tournaments I won’t be surprised if see her achieve this feat.

Sindhu does deserve all the accolades and rewards she is bestowed with and we hope she continues to use it as a booster for her future achievements and make our country proud. We At FirstSportz would like to congratulate the Legend of Indian Badminton and one of the finest Badminton Athletes in the world, our very own Pusarla Venkata Sindhu for all the glories she has attained and we wish her all the best for her future endeavours.
