After a plethora of allegations that the International Cricket Council (ICC) was biased against Pakistani cricketers due to the fact that no player found a place in the council’s Teams of the Decade in all three formats, a reason to celebrate emerged after former cricketer and current Prime Minister Imran Khan came up trumps in a poll.

The ICC put up a poll asking who among Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Meg Lanning and Imran Khan was the best ‘pacesetter’. The poll ended in favor of the latter as he notched up 47.3% of the votes. Current Indian skipper Virat Kohli was 2nd on 46.2%. South Africa’s AB de Villiers got 6% while Aussie woman cricketer Meg Lanning received 0.5%.
