Cristiano Ronaldo earlier scored his 25th goal of the season in Serie A to give Juventus the lead. Lorenzo Insigne’s 90th minute penalty was just a mere consolation for Napoli in the end.

Cristiano Ronaldo fired the hosts into an early lead before Dybala, making his first league appearance since January, curled a shot into the bottom corner to double their lead after 73 minutes.

Lorenzo Insigne pulled one back for Napoli from the penalty spot in the final minute, but it was too little too late as the visitors’ four-match league winning run came to an end.

It was a huge result for Juve coach Andrea Pirlo, who came into the game under massive pressure after picking up one point from two games against relegation-battling sides Benevento and Torino.

Paulo Dybala celebrates his winner against Napoli by paying respect to his mother

“I have got a lot of things wrong, but I would do them all again because the first year as a coach is not easy,” Andrea Pirlo told Sky Italia after the game .

“You throw yourself into it with your ideas and try to have things in mind to transmit to the team. Sometimes you do well, sometimes you make mistakes.

“This year a lot of things have happened, I think it is the most complicated season not just for me but for everyone, for a lot of reasons. I made mistakes like everyone does, but I can draw conclusions from them and not repeat them in the future.”
