On Wednesday, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief executive Wasim Khan told that in July, Pakistan plans to send the 25 man squad in England to meet the demands of playing an entire tour in a ‘bio-secure’ bubble.

In August, Pakistan are scheduled to play three test matches in August behind closed doors by an equal number of T20 International Matches.

The England and Wales Cricket Board planned to implement the tour in a detailed presentation on Friday and Khan told that the PCB was encouraged by the proposals.

“So from that point of view, in principle, we are planning towards touring England,” he said.

PCB would give medical advice and government guidance to all the players before going on the tour.

The government of UK said that the elite sports will start in June but without any spectators and England are hopeful of cricket’s delayed start with the Test series against the West Indies in July.

Pakistan will have to arrive there 14 days before the first test and they will have to be quarantine which is mandatory for all the visitors.

The T20 and test players will travel together to give options to the team management for replacing the players in case of some injury.

“From a manageability point of view, it makes sense for us and the ECB that the whole squad travel as one, so you create a bubble if you like around those players for the whole of the time that they are in England,” Khan said.

The ECB has not announced venues for the tour. Khan said that the venues would have testing centers and zones that would be off-limits to none other than players and officials.

“They are planning to create bio-secure hotels, a sort of environment around the players in certain parts of the hotel to keep the players safe and away from the general public,” Khan added.
