Pep Guardiola and eight other players could face 14 days self-isolation after returning to England

When Pep Guardiola, boss of Manchester City and other eight players will return from Britain, they could face 14 days of mandatory self-isolation.

In England, football tournament has been suspended last month due to the pandemic COVID 19. The British Government has announced a complete lockdown till 7th May.

Premier league is hoping to held the tournament in June. When players and managers will be returning to England, they will likely to be asked for 14 self-isolation. At least four managers and players will be affected.

Manchester City’s players are in their home country but Guardiola is in Spain because his mother died this month.

The reports said, “Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo and his coaching staff are in Portugal, while up to five players from the team are not in England.”

Reports further added, “Norwich City manager Daniel Farke and Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuettl, as well as some players on their teams and Brighton & Hove Albion, are out of the country.”

On Friday, Premier League club will be holding a conference call to discuss the different ways to finish the season.

Brighton, West Ham United and Arsenal have reopened their grounds to resume the training. While practicing they will follow social distancing.
