Former Telugu Titans raider Suraj Desai created history when he amassed a total of 18 raid points in his Pro Kabaddi League debut match against Dabang Delhi K.C. After warming the benches in season 2 and season 5, Suraj finally got a chance to prove his worth in the PKL 7. Suraj took no time to showcase his skills at the biggest stage as he outclassed the Delhi Defenders with his agility and accuracy.

As mentioned earlier, he registered 18 raid points in his debut appearance to break the record of his own brother Siddharth Desai who collected 15 raid points on his maiden outing for U Mumba in PKL 6. Scoring that many points are already a big achievement but scoring them on debut when the pressure is high makes it more special.

Most Tackle Points in a single season: Nitesh Kumar (100 points)

However, his real talent came to notice when he went all berserk in the following season to collect 100 tackle points in just 25 games to etch his name in the Pro Kabaddi League record books.

The right corner defender, who is known for his strong ankle hold became the first and only player to score 100 tackle points in a single season with the next best being 82 by Fazel Atrachali in PKL 7. Also, Nitesh secured eight High 5s which is second-most by a defender in one season.
